LELA-Got Water?

If you ever wondered how the policies are set for our local utilities you need to come to the Lake Erie Landlord Association membership meeting in January. The landscape for real estate investing and landlords is always full of challenges. Some of the challenges include the local water department’s policies, procedures and billing for investment properties. We must realize the individuals that implement these policies and procedures are only doing what they are required or legislated to do. This is a great opportunity for us to find out the facts that relate to public utilities policies and procedures and how to better deal with them in the future.

If you’re a Landlord or Real Estate Investor experiencing some difficulties in our challenging market place, you need to be at The Inn of Elyria (formally The Elyria Holiday Inn) on Tuesday, January 4th, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will feature Robert Gilchrist, Service Director of the City of Lorain, Corey Timko, Director of the Lorain Utilities Department and Sherman Jones, Superintendent of Elyria Public Utilities. Our organization would like to thank these individuals for attending our meeting and answering our questions and concerns.

We would like to thank everyone that attended our annual Holiday Party on December 3 at The Inn of Elyria. It was a great evening of fun. There were a lot of toys collected for “The Not Forgotten Box.” Thank you to all our members that generously brought toys for the kids and really helped us make a lasting impression on some of the Counties less fortunate children. We would also like to thank all our Vendors that donated gift baskets and gift cards for drawings used to raise money for the purchase of additional toys for the kids. They are:
