Four Seats open for the Board of Directors
LELA is looking for Members to serve on the Board of Directors. Your responsibilities include development of business plans, p0licies, procedures and business strategy. The Board of Directors are also responsible for overseeing the management of the day to day operations of the organization. They are guided by and expected to adhere to the by-laws of the Association put in place at its conception.
Your input can be a valuable tool to help manage and set the direction for the future growth of the Lake Erie Landlord Association. Valuable insight and a different perspective are welcome as we continue to grow and mature.
Our Board of Directors are expected to stay current on developments that affect the Landlords and Real Estate Investors. They are required to set aside any potential conflict between their personal and individual business interests to support the well-being of the Association.
We ask all Board Members to attend the monthly Membership Meetings on the first Tuesday and the Directors Meetings on the second Tuesday of every month. The term for Our Directors is 3 years.
Fill out the Director Application and return to the LELA Office by April 15, 2011

2011 Mayoral Candidates
How important is it to you to know the leader of your city? What kind of impact do the people running our communities have on our business? How important is it to you to have a chance to sit in the same room with these individuals and get your questions and concerns addressed? Well now is your chance!
If you’re a Landlord or Real Estate Investor experiencing some difficulties in our challenging market place, you need to be at The Inn of Elyria, formerly The Holiday Inn on Tuesday, April 5th, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will feature the candidates running for Mayor in Lorain and Elyria. Now is the time to get a preview of the men and women that are looking to lead us into the future.
Our meeting will include current Mayor of Lorain, Tony Krashienko, current Mayor of Elyria, Bill Grace along with Lorain Mayoral candidates Chase Ritenour and Mitch Fallis. Elyria Mayoral candidate Holly Brinda has a previous commitment but will try to attend.
